Epilepsy Awareness Campaign (15 May - 30 June)

The aim of this campaign is to:-

• Increase community awareness of epilepsy and seizure first aid
• Raise the profile of Epilepsy Queensland
• Garner community support thereby assisting with raising much needed funds
• Epilepsy Queensland hopes to raise $86,000 during the epilepsy awareness campaign - $1 for every Queenslander living with epilepsy.
• The Little Poss Appeal runs from 8 to 14 June.  Merchandise will be sold at major shopping centres and participating Westpac branches, newsagents and pharmacies.  For further information on how to order merchandise, please visit www.epilepsyqueensland.com.au/site/littlepossappeal
• Other events will be held during the awareness campaign period including:
• Epilepsy Queensland’s Workshops and Seminars in Cairns (18 May), Townsville (20 May) and Brisbane (3, 18 and 23 June)
• Business Seminar with entrepreneur and best-selling author Allan Pease (10 June)
• “Darren’s Day” (21 June) at the Caloundra Bowls Club
