Epilepsy Queensland's support groups provide an opportunity for people to connect. In these groups, members provide each other with various types of assistance, usually non-professional and non-material, for a particular shared and often difficult issue. The help may take the form of sharing relevant information, relating personal experiences, listening to and accepting others' experiences and establishing social networks.
Our family support program also strives to provide support and empowerment for families of children with difficult to manage epilepsies.
