Purple Day Celebration and illuminations

Purple Day Celebration
Due to the impacts of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Epilepsy Queensland has with deep regret decided to postpone our Purple Day celebration at South Bank. We will work with our partners to find a date later in the year when it is safer to participate in “non-essential events” in line with State and National Health Department advice or be back bigger and better for Purple Day 2021. Thank you to everyone who has expressed an interest in this event.
March is our major National fundraising and awareness campaign for the year. Unfortunately Coronavirus will have a significant impact on our ability to raise funds and awareness throughout the month of March. Any support you can provide through virtual fundraising events or sharing our posts on social media are genuinely appreciated. Please note purple illuminations will still be going ahead at locations across the State and we look forward to seeing how you #GoPurpleForEpilepsy whether it be at one of our illuminations or at home.
Your health and safety remains our primary concern, so please take care and follow the instructions of Queensland Health during this time.
For an update on coronavirus and epilepsy visit our website http://bit.ly/EpiCorona or If you wish to discuss this event or, please contact our team 1300 852 853.
