Purple Day for epilepsy

It is estimated that over 12,000 children in Queensland are currently living with epilepsy. Epilepsy Queensland invites your school to participate in Purple Day for Epilepsy. Purple Day is an easy way for your school community to show support for children and teachers in your school living with epilepsy and help raise awareness and vitally needed funds.
On any day during the national epilepsy awareness campaign 1 to 26 March, you and your school can join other students and teachers from around the world to go purple and help bring epilepsy out of the shadows!
Suggested activities include:
  • Hold a free (purple) dress day, bake sale or crazy hair day and donate the proceeds to Epilepsy Queensland
  • Buy or sell Purple Day merchandise including ribbons, wristbands, keyrings, badges and plush animals
  • Lots of great information is available to download below

Schools and Early Learning Centres can register online here and receive free stickers for their Purple Day free dress day/fundraising activities for Epilepsy Queensland.

Great resources are available to download to help increase awareness and raise much needed funds.
